Platform creator, bridge-builder, people-connector and community-developer,
I am thankful for the many opportunities that allow not just myself but my attendees to form meaningful relationships, engage in stimulating conversations and
grow professionally and personally.
Our very first event in Singapore in 2000 with the Customer Service Guru, Ron Kaufman who worked with us on an exclusive basis in Singapore for almost 10 years.
Our first collaboration with Hong Kong University in Nov 2000 in which we brought the event to Hong Kong. Macau and Shenzhen. No mean feat considering we started our company in Mar 2000.
MotivAsia 2003 A regional conference with several international speakers and various sponsors.
Dealing with Difficult People - our highly popular and often sold-out workshops which we ran in various countries from 2003 - 2010 with Roberta Cava whom is called my 'surrogate mother'.
Seven back-to-back workshops with 7 international speakers done in conjunction with the Global Speakers Summit in 2005, made possible with support of Scott Friedman who has become a long-time friend.
The first fruitful collaboration with Andrew & Julie Matthews in 2005, author and publisher of a series of best-selling books. They have also become personal friends whom we have been blessed to know and work with.
The Arab Leadership Forum which I specially created for the Young Arab Leaders finally happened in 2008 in Bahrain. It was humbling and gratifying to see its fruition after 3 years, We experienced many first and formed meaningful relationships with many.
A very purposeful event in 2016 which is very dear to me - took a leap of faith to organise this event which was done without any budget. The change in the type of events I put together was due to a life-changing event in my life. In less than 2 months, we got the 500 attendees which we envisioned to attract.
Following the success of Happy Teens, Happy Families, Resilient Teens, Resilient Families was placed in my heart 2 years before it materialised in Mar 2018. Grateful to my dear friend, Yossi Ghinsberg, best-seling author whose story of surviving in the Amazon for 21 days was made into a movie for being the keynote speaker.
My first time delivering a presentation on Resilience in 2018. The audience size was twice than expected. The great interest and the positive feedback I received was both humbling and encouraging. An attendee told me during a 10 minute break after first half of the talk, "This was the first time I attend a talk in which what was shared went straight to my heart."
Teenzilience - a program that I specially created in 2018 to help teens to build resilience and thrive against all odds. Now more than ever, we need to help teach the youth to brave the storms of life and bloom where they are.
A project - Young Change Makers - Youth Edition launched in Nov 2021 to help young people with change-making from the inside-out: Creating the future they want. This was delivered hybrid to a group of teenagers aged between 13 to 16 years old, half of whom have ADHD. Glad to see the growth and the change in mindset in the teens.
With the global pandemic, it prompted me to deep delve into Resilience, Emotional and Mental Wellness, paying special to neuroscience and brain-based studies. This resulted in me creating 2 four simple steps programs - The G.I.F.T. of L.I.F.E.
A virtual retreat which I designed and developed for organisations which are looking to help their executives and leaders to breathe in a world of uncertainty and overwhelmed. Highly popular and well-received - it can be delivered over 4 sessions or 1 session.
